Dr. Mark Atkinson

Mark graduated from the University of Glasgow in 2008 and is the owner and principal dentist of London Road Dental Practice. He originates from the Lake District.
Over the past 10 years, he has gained a wealth of clinical experience through working in a busy NHS practice. He loves travelling and has previously worked as a mobile voluntary dentist in Ecuador, travelling around the country helping local patients out of dental pain who would not normally have access to a dentist.
Together with his wife Ee Ying, he spends his spare time relaxing with their two young daughters.
Dr. Ee Ying Ooi

Born and bred in Malaysia, Ee Ying moved to sunny Glasgow to pursue her dental training, graduating with Commendation in 2008. With her husband Mark, she is the co-owner of London Road Dental Practice.
After a stint as a Senior House Officer in the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Department in Plymouth, she has been working as a dentist in general practice in the Bristol area.
She is passionate about continually updating her skills and knowledge to keep abreast of the advances in dentistry. In 2012, she completed the Advanced Implantology Course in Dentale and in 2015, she gained her Diploma in Postgraduate Dental Studies with Merit from the University of Bristol.
She is a member of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Dr. Nigel Stubbs

Nigel qualified in 1997 at the University of Sheffield and has 18 years of experience as a dentist; part of this was as a flying dentist in the outback of Australia!
In Nigel’s spare time he enjoys cooking with his specialities being Indian food and bread making. He is new to the area and is looking forward to exploring the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.
Dr. Ross Wilson

Ross graduated from King’s College, London, and worked in a number of London teaching hospitals and district general hospitals. In 2000, he gained the MFDS RCS (Eng) qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons.
Ross is also a member of the Association of Dental Implantologists, and SAAD (Society for the Advancement of Anesthesia in Dentistry) and can offer sedation dentistry for nervous patients.
Ross has attended many postgraduate training courses including certification in surgical and prosthodontic implantology from the Eastman Dental Institute and has particular interests in oral surgery and dental implants. Ross is married and has two children.
Dr. Ali Yousuf

Ali graduated from the University of Bristol in 2014 where he was awarded the prestigious award for technical excellence. He has continued to demonstrate this throughout his clinical practice. He was recently accepted as a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow after completing the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery.
Since qualifying, Ali has attended various post-graduate courses to keep up to date with cutting-edge dentistry. He has a special interest in anterior alignment orthodontics specifically using invisible cosmetic braces to straighten teeth such as Invisalign Aligners. He has a passion for cosmetic dentistry where his latest venture involves intensive central London based training in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. This covers areas such as aesthetic crowns and veneers, bleaching, prosthetic restorations, composite restorations (white fillings) and restoration of the worn dentition.
Ali’s friendly manner puts you at ease and he works hard to make sure his patients leave thoroughly satisfied from his surgery. He has a strong focus on attention to detail and prides himself in delivering a high standard of care.
Outside of dentistry Ali enjoys a variety of sports and spending time with his wife and young son.

Sarah graduated from Bristol Dental Hospital in 2016. Sarah was previously working in Hampshire before joining the London Road team in March 2018.
Her hobbies include learning to horse ride, racket sports and traveling.

Charlotte qualified from the Bristol Dental Hospital originally as a Dental Nurse and then as a Dental Hygienist in 1985.
Charlotte lives locally with her husband, her grown up children who are now following their own career paths. Her interests include collecting Swatch watches, travelling & walking.
Charlotte has worked at London Road Dental Practice since 2001 and enjoys her work especially with nervous patients and is always gentle caring and considerate towards all her patients.

Laura joined the London Road Dental Practice team in 2008 as a full-time trainee dental nurse and qualified in 2010. Since then, she has completed her oral health education certificate and been on various implant and sedation courses.
Laura has two boys and works part time at the practice as Clinical Lead Nurse and alongside Natasha, has taken on more of a role in the administration and running of the practice.
Her interests outside of work are football (Bristol Rovers FC!), shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Vicky started as a trainee dental nurse in 2012 and gained a qualification in dental nursing in 2013.
Before joining London Road Dental Practice in early 2015 she worked in the NHS where she did general dental nursing but mainly worked with the Orthodontist. Vicky is interested in cross infection control, surgical and orthodontics and hopes to go on to do courses in these areas. As well as her dental nursing course Vicky has also completed a radiography course.
Out of work, Vicky enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going on daytrips, reading and watching films.

Emma started as a trainee dental nurse in 2010 in an NHS practice and went on to gain her qualification as a dental nurse in July 2012. Since qualifying, she has always wanted to train in oral hygiene and go into local schools to help educate children in this area.
She also has an interest in sedation and would love to be able to train in this with the hope of one day working in an Oral & Maxillofacial department in a hospital.
Emma has two young sons who love to be outdoors so they spend a lot of time finding woodlands to walk the dog in. She doesn’t very often get much spare time but when she does, she loves catching up with friends and trying to fit in as much fitness as possible.
Shelley has worked within the dental industry for 34 years and seen lots of changes over the years. She started as a dental nurse then went on to become a receptionist and has experienced various improvements in dentistry and technology.
She has many interests outside of work including gardening, art and spending lots of time with her 3 grandchildren.
